BMS Cost Consultants and Estimators is a startup construction cost consulting company specialized in providing quantity surveying services to owners, architects & contractors. Family owned and operated, BMS brings together years of international estimation experience to ensure owners, architects, contractors and subcontractors are well prepared during the design stages to the construction stages of projects.

Owner/Chartered Quantity Surveyor and Estimator: Suresh Ram PQS, GSC, MRICS
Suresh finished his higher education in Sri Lanka, attaining a diploma in civil engineering and quantity surveying. He started his career as a quantity surveyor by working at large construction companies in Sri Lanka, such as Tudawe Brothers, and Samacon Ltd. In 1990, Suresh moved to the Middle East and worked as a senior quantity surveyor for various leading international general contractors and cost consultant firms in the Sultanate of Oman and Qatar. In 2001, Suresh moved to Canada and since then, has worked for contractors of many sizes; from small drywall companies, to leading general contractors. With over 25 years of international experience, Suresh brings his knowledge and expertise to BMS Cost Consultants and Estimators.
Suresh has also earned many accolades through his many years as a quantity surveyor. He is a Professional Quantity Surveyor in Canada, and a member of the Canadian and Ontario Institute of Quantity Surveyors. He is also a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with the Royal Institute of Quantity Surveyors.
In addition, Suresh has a Gold Seal Certificate as an Estimator for the Canadian Construction Association.
